Upon arriving in Siem Reap, you will be met by your guide, who will transfer you to your deluxe accommodation. After freshening up, you'll be treated to a massage at your hotel to relieve you of any travel weariness and revive you for your exploration of the Kingdom of Angkor. Start at your discovery at the Angkor National Museum for an interesting introduction to the history on a visit guided by an expert in this field. This evening, a traditional Khmer Welcome Dinner will be served.
Overnight Siem Reap.
You'll have a full morning at Angkor Wat, the best-preserved temple in the area, and the world's largest religious structure. Your guide will take you through the galleries to show you their stunning bas-reliefs. Explore the temples of the small circuit, including Ta Prohm. Ta Prohm is unique in that it has been left largely as it was found: overgrown by jungle trees and vines, with many parts of the temple crumbling to the ground. Head back to Siem Reap for lunch and some leisure.
Tonight a special Khmer dinner will be served for you at Apsara Theatre, where your meal will be accompanied by traditional Khmer Apsara dance. Overnight in, Siem Reap.

This morning you'll delve into the forest on a visit to Banteay Srei, an elaborately carved pink sandstone temple known as the citadel of women. On the way back to the hotel, take the opportunity to stop at local communities to observe how they produce rice paper and other commodities. Visit the Golden Silk Farm west of Siem Reap and observe the process of silk development. This afternoon, you will visit the ancient city of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII. From the back of an elephant, ride around the South Gate of Angkor Thom before finishing the day's temple exploring at Bayon. Towards sunset, we drive out to Tonlé Sap Lake, where a handcrafted riverboat will take you on a champagne cruise along Tonlé Sap Lake. Overnight in Siem Reap.

This morning we head to the countryside where you can spot water buffalos, children in school uniforms on their bicycles and oxcarts. Drive to Beng Mealea and uncover this unique temple overgrown by trees. Enjoy a special picnic lunch near the temple site. After return to your hotel, where you will have time to relax before the transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
