DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1 – 22 December 2015: Arrival Hanoi (D)

Our Guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer to hotel for check in. You will have free time at your leisure to escape jetlag before a welcome dinner will be served at an authentic restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2 –23 December 2015: Hanoi – Halong (B/L/D)

In the morning, you will be picked up and go to a local restaurant for breakfast and morning coffee. You will then leave Hanoi for Halong Bay, arriving at the jetty around 12:30 p.m. Upon arrival, you will set out on a junk cruise on the bay while lunch is served. You will pass through the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons' teeth. After lunch, you will take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay, swimming on a quiet beach or sunbathing on the sundeck. You will stay overnight onboard.

Day 3 –24 December 2015: Halong – Hanoi (Brunch)

Rising to the sound of lapping bay waters, you will have time for an early morning dip followed by breakfast. Sitting on the upper deck, you can relax while taking in the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the emerald water of the bay. After breakfast, explore Sung Sot cave (8 a.m. to 9 a.m.), swim and relax at SoiSim beach. At 9:30 a.m., your boat cruises back to the jetty while brunch is served from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. You will continue cruising through the bay, along the way seeing more of the fascinating formations. Cabin check-out is at 11:45 am. The boat arrives at the harbor around noon and you will drive directly to Hanoi for an overnight stay.

Day 4 – 25 December 2015: Hanoi Full Day City Tour (B/L)

The post-colonial capital city of Hanoi is a unique Asian city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, numerous lakes, pagodas and temples. This full day tour takes you around Hanoi's most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex, Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his Stilt House, the Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda nearby. Then you will take 1 hour Cyclo around 36 streets in Old Quarter before enjoying Water Puppet Performance. Overnight in Hanoi. 

Day 5 – 26 December 2015: Hanoi – Hue (B/D)

Day 6 – 27 December 2015: Hue Full Day City Tour (B/L)

Breakfast at hotel. Depart from hotel, take a boat cruise along the romantic Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the oldest ancient architectural structures for religious worship in Hue. Visit the splendid Imperial city from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 to 1945.Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the elaborate mausoleums of emperors TuDuc and KhaiDinh, the conical hat and an incense stick-making village before exploring the lively Dong Ba market. Dinner by own account. Overnight in Hue.

Day 7 –28 December 2015: Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An (B)

Breakfast at Hotel. Then you will take train from hue to Da Nang. Arrival Da Nang Train station, our guide will pick up clients and transfer to Hoi An for check in and stay overnights. Free time for relaxation. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 8 –29 December 2015: Hoi An – My Son Full Day City Tour (B/L)

Breakfast at hotel. Morning pick up from the hotel to drive 40 km southwest of Hoi An for a half day trip to visit the capital and religious centre of the former Champa Kingdom, My Son, that has been designated by UNESCO as World Heritage site. Dozens of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries are spread in a lush green valley. Drive back to Hoi An for lunch. Afternoon walking tour of Hoi An to discover the historic town which used to be a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Visit Hoi Ancolourful local market, Tan Ky old house, Fukien Assembly Hall, and the 400- year-old Japanese covered bridge. Travelers can also see local residents raise silkworms and produce silk for Hoi An's burgeoning textile industry. Dinner by own account. Overnight in Hoi An. 

Day 9 –30 December 2015: Being a Local Fisherman (B)

Breakfast at hotel If you want to enjoy your stay in Hoi An in a different way, then why not to try to become a local fisherman for some time. This will be a unique experience that will help you merge with the local fishermen community. You will see how tricky it is to spread the “ro” nets in the water in a perfect circle, how difficult to lift them and what is the way to control the round basket boat to get the fish out. Meet your local guide at hotel and transfer to the fishing village where you will start 

preparing the fishing equipment: net, basket boats, fishing rods and where you will be instructed on how correctly to spread the net. Throughout this experience you will have a plenty of opportunities to interact with locals and share your experiences with them. Seafood lunch included. After lunch, transfer back to hotel. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 10 –31 December 2015: Hoi An Free and Easy Day (B)

Day 12 –02 January 2016: Cu Chi Tunnels – City Tour (B/L)

Breakfast at hotel.Visit to Cu Chi Tunnels (70 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh city), an amazing complex of underground tunnels used during the Vietnam war. Lunch en route. Then Visit the Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum. Photo stop at Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post office.Dinner by own account. 

Day 13 – 03 January 2016: Mekong Delta Excursion (B/L)

Pick up at your hotel. Enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields.  On arrived at My Tho, visit VinhTrang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by locals. 

Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village. Day 14 – 04 January 2016: Ho Chi Minh – Phnom Penh (B)

Today, you will leave Saigon and depart to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival at Phnom Penh, Pick up from the airport, transfer to the hotel for check in. Rest of the day is free at your own leisure. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 15 – 05 January 2016: City Tour in Phnom Penh (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel, we visit Independence Monument. From here we enjoy cyclo ride to the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. Located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. The treasures found inside include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90kilograms and a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha. We continue to visit the National Museum, also called Musee des Beaux-Arts. A French archaeologist and painter, Georges Groslier, designed it in Khmer style in 1917. The museum contains a collection of Khmer art - notably sculptures - throughout the ages. After lunch at local restaurant, visit TuolSleng Museum (S-21 prison). This former school was used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces. More than 17,000 people held at S-21 were taken to the extermination camp at ChoengEk to be executed. Then continue to visit Phnom Penh’s PsarToul Tom Pong, known as the Russian Market, a great place to hunt for souvenirs, curios, and silks. On the evening, we will spend rest of the time enjoying 01 hour boat cruise along the Mekong River to view the spectacular sunset over the Royal Palace. Then back to the hotel. Day 16 – 06 Janurary 2016: Phnom Penh – SiemRiep (B/L)

After breakfast at the hotel, we will go to Siem Reap escorted by our tour guide. The drive is normally taken about 6 hour by private car. On the way we will stop at Skun district to see the fried spider which are sold over there, then you can have a chance to taste it too. After resting the some minutes at there, we will proceed our way to Siem Reap and we will have the last stop at a beautiful Naga bridge which is the ancient ruin bridge built since Angkor period, but it remains stable and be on original shape which only bike or motor bike are allowed to go across. Upon arrival in Siem Reap, our tour guide will drop 

you off at the hotel for your check in. Lunch will be served on the way to try the tasty local food. Rest of the day is free at your own leisure. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 17 – 07 January 2017: SiemRiep – Angkor Tours (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel: meet up your tour guide for sightseeing at 08:000am: Tour of Angkor area we spend a full day exploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple and the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature. Day 18 – 08 January 2016: SiemRiep – BanteaySrey – Tonle Sap (B/L)

Breakfast at hotel, Heading out of town we make our way by traveling on a newly paved road to the intricately carved and well preserved temple of BanteaySrei. Along the way we make stopover at the Preah Dark village and we follow these with a visit the BanteaySamre Temple adorned with impressive relief’s depicting scenes of Vishunu as well as Krishna legends. Afternoon we visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. We take a boat trip in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia. We spend the rest of day visiting the "ChantiersEcoles - Les Artisans d'Angkor" which provides training to young Cambodians in an effort to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting. Day 19 – 09 January 2016: Departure (B)
